“Architecture Women @ Pratt” was made on the occasion of International Woman’s Day on March 8th, 2020 and was the keynote feature for a dinner event in Brooklyn that brought together professors, architects, designers, writers, recent graduates, current students, staff, and scholars associated with Pratt Institute’s School of Architecture. The film is a “day in the life” video poem to Higgins Hall, the Steven Holl building where the school of architecture is housed, and a tip of the hat to its inhabitants. It also features insights by three powerful women in the discipline of architecture, Anita Cooney, Dean of the School of Design, Deborah Gans, architect, professor and researcher, and Cynthia Davidson, editor of some of the most important magazines and publications in architecture including log and ANY.
